Such rapid progress would spark the interest of the major labels and in 1994 UNITED announced a signing with the JVC Victor label. 'N.O.I.Q.', produced by Pat Regan, emerged in 1995. SLAYER manager Rick Sales would take an active part in managing the band globally at this juncture. UNITED would lend valuable support to MACHINE HEAD's Japanese dates as 'N.O.I.Q.' saw an American release through the Metal Blade label. UNITED would travel to California to perform their debut gig on American soil at the Foundations Forum trade event. However, longstanding vocalist Yoshiaki Furui parted ways with the band toward the close of the year. |
