"It took four years for me to put this one together. I recorded "Wonderin" on 16 track around November 1990 after the Colorcode European tour. I recorded the "Lying Truth" around April 1994. Everything inbetween was written and recorded (some demoed, some not) while I was making other records. This by far has been my most popular record. I think it was my most personal other than the first Colorcode. The Japanese version is a little different than the U.S. version. The bonus tracks as well as the song sequence is different. Plus I swapped three tunes of the Japanese version for three different tunes on the U.S. I also remastered the CD with Eddy Schreyer at Futurdisc giving the U.S. version a little heavier sound. This record has done amazing things for my career but still in the U.S. I don't think it will get a chance to perform well. It's licensed to a small label, Pavement, and without marketing dollars it will probably remain unknown. I hope someday to have a hit in the U.S., mostly so people can discover the "Back From The Living" CD. I'm really proud of this record."
