SAVAGE's first release was a track on the 'Metal Fatigue' compilation album before the single 'Ain't No Fit Place',  'China Run'. The resultant good reviews led Ebony to finance their classic debut album 'Loose n' Lethal', probably one of the finest British Metal albums ever released. The album displayed a very aggressive punch, razor-sharp guitars and some fine Lynnot-esque narrative style lyric writing. Lacking any cohesive management backing the band failed to capitalise on the album's enormous potential and rave reviews despite appearing at many European festival dates, including Aardschock alongside METALLICA and VENOM and French festivals with SORTILEGE, and many a Marquee date.
