Singer and guitarist Ray Lyell grew up in St. Catharines on a musical diet consisting of tunes by many of the greats of rock & roll. By the time he was 13, Lyell was already writing his own rock songs. His first band was formed in the early '80s with friend and guitarist Dave Kristian. Gigs opening for the likes of Luba, Kim Mitchell, Alannah Myles, Glass Tiger, The Grapes Of Wrath, and The Pursuit Of Happiness garnered critical and audience approval alike. |
