English metal trio from the NWOBHM era. Raven was formed in late 70s in Newcastle, England by brothers Mark (guitar) and John Gallagher (bass/vocals), and drummer Rob (Wacko) Hunter. The raw Raven heavy metal sound is back, although the production is much cleaner than their earlier albums and overall, the band has found a nice ballance of raw aggression and melody. Fave release from the 90s CDs.
