Pushking was created in 1994 and was the first example of the recognition of Russian rock music on the international scene. Bruce Gowdy was sound-producer of the album. The songs "Mama" and "Garden Undone" from the album placed 2nd and 4th respectively on German, Swiss and Dutch charts. Music channels (VIVA MTV, MCM) broadcast videos of these songs and radio stations and received good reviews in the European music press. From 1996 to 1999 the group gave over 400 concerts in Germany and Switzerland.
