BEST TRACK: "Possibilities" - a moody, string-laden rumination
Be honest: If he weren't dead, would anybody really care? While the 13 songs on Hutchence's posthumous solo album are peppered with intriguing stylistic detours, the majority of the material suffers from the same rigid, riff-reliant formula that plagued much of INXS's recent output. Not nearly as interesting as Hutchence's other non-INXS project, 1988's Max Q. All in all, a middling farewell. |
