Nesler made his reputation writing songs for Trace Adkins, Mark Chesnutt and especially Tracy Byrd (nine tracks, including Heaven In My Womans Eyes) and Tim McGraw (his enormo-smash Just To See You Smile). Im Just That Way its an intensely introspective, mostly downbeat collection of songs about love and loss. Neslers voice is decent, but its his emotional delivery and the originality of his lyrics that make you believe every word hes singing.
