John Brannen sounds like Bruce Springsteen. Brannen is a songwriter of considerable strength and a singer and guitarist of high merit. Brannen and Pete Carr (Bob Segers Silver Bullet Band) share both production and guitar duties. The sound is reminiscent of some of Steve Winwoods late-1980s and early-1990s records minus the synthesizers.
