Harlot, one of the premier 80s rock n roll party bands and a flyer fixture of L.A.s Sunset strip formed in 1984 and started out playing backyard parties and beer halls. In 1985 they began to play the clubs of the exploding Los Angeles rock and roll scene. This included regular bookings at the Country Club in Reseda, as well as the clubs in Hollywood including the Roxy, the Troubadour, the Whiskey and Gazzaris, also playing shows in Orange county and San Diego. Harlot was featured on the KLOS local licks show as well as KNAC, and was known for catchy songs, colorful stage outfits and stage set-up, and wild after parties. While Harlot never managed to secure a major label deal like some of their counterparts, Harlot continued to play, record and party until they disbanded in 1990. In 2009, Harlot re-grouped and recorded 8 songs followed by 3 outstanding performances at the coveted Rocklahoma festival in July 2009. Harlot are back and this is 80s party rock n roll that should be an essential addition to your collection. Highly Recommended!
