Canadian Melodic Rock act that have found a huge fan base in Japan. Vocalist Harold Hess and drummer Darren Smith had been members of Oshawa Metal band BLIND VENGEANCE releasing the 1984 album 'Taste Of Sin'. Hooking up with ex-MINOTAUR guitarist PETE LESPERANCE and bassist Mike Gionet the quartet created HAREM SCAREM and spent a full year rehearsing. The resulting demo tape landed the band a deal with WEA Records.

In early 2002 Hess would donate his song-writing skills to the comeback album for Pop Rock veterans STARSHIP. HAREM SCAREM bounced back onto European stages with a performance at the UK 'Gods' festival, the Spanish 'Nemelrock' event and a short burst of German dates supported by British Rockers PULSE.
