Who are those guys? You know the line, the one Strangeways used on the track 'Danger In Your Eyes' from their 'Walk In The Fire' album. Well the same can be said for Eleven Bloody Men. Technically this band are a bit of a misnoma, as they were in fact the San Fransisco based HYTS, who released two albums on the Gold Mountain label during 1983-1985. This album is not really a studio album as such, but a nine track compilation of those two aforementioned albums.

This album has three cuts from the debut, and six from 'LFTO'. So the point is, what do HYTS, sorry Eleven Bloody Men sound like? To these ears their sound is eighties pomp, but it does take a bit of getting used to. In some parts Duke Jupiter, and on others Balance. Roland Little's vocals are an acquired taste, moving in the same territory as Bob Seger for instance.
