Power Metal band CRYSTAL EYES would release a consistent run of impressively packaged demo cassettes upfront of their 1999 commercial debut 'World Of Black And Silver'. The band was put together during 1992 by ex-PAINTED SKIES vocalist/guitarist Mikael Dahl and guitarist Niclas Karlsson. The duo rounded off the line-up with bass player Christian Gunnarsson and a drum machine. In 1993 the band brought in a real drummer Martin Tilander to commit to tape a debut demo, 'Crystal Eyes', released in 1994. Also becoming involved was lyricist Andreas Götesson.
