Any Day Now was founded by A&M Records keyboardist and writer/producer Stuart Zaltz (THE WORKS, WALL OF SILENCE). Zaltz had great success in Canada over the years with various bands and on collaborative efforts including Cy Curnin of THE FIXX, Kevin Savigar and Tom DeLuca. Singer Al Langlade's remarkable voice came to Zaltz's attention during some vocal sessions for one of Stuart's independent productions. Al's background in music included a role as lead singer and primary writer for TOTAL STRANGER, a band that released three independent CDs and toured extensively. He also joined long time friend Ian Crighton (SAGA) on Ian's solo record "Ghettos By Design" as lead vocalist and co-writer. The debut disc "Millennium" was recorded and mixed in Zaltz's studio in Toronto. |
